Through on-time professional service and unparalleled customer care, UMI has become a strong contender in the small to medium quantity generator market. During mid 2003, UMI expanded its business by offering disposable products used on a daily basis to its existing customers. After initial market research and market testing, UMI has become a unique company offering the customer a complete system of biomedical waste containment, hauling and disposal by providing the necessary protective containers, timely pickups and state of the art medical waste disposal, as well as, offering “the basic” products that most medical, dental, veterinary practices and other healthcare facilities utilize today, i.e. medical gloves, paper products, antibacterial soaps, disinfectants, sharps containers, red bags. UMI is able to offer medical waste hauling and disposal services and the basic products, at very competitive prices, to the end user who does not have the purchasing power of a larger customer.

The company works with the customers to reduce biomedical waste at the point of generation. The company helps customers properly audit, classify and segregate the biomedical waste into the proper categories for disposition. After the biomedical waste has been properly segregated, it is then deposited into United Medical Industries protective containment units. With a wide variety of containers available the company customizes the units to meet the customer's needs. The customer's containment system is designed to ensure employees safety and convenience, and to be easily transported. All of the company's containment units meet or exceed the State and Federal specifications for product construction and content. A frequent pick-up schedule based on the customer's needs completes the containment features of the company.

UMI offers customers, the convenience of, delivery of products used on a daily basis by its customers such as paper products, hand washing products, hand disinfectants and dispensers, surgical and exam grade gloves, masks, anti-viral and disinfectant cleaning chemicals, can liners, and other medical supplies.
